Chicago-Wilcox announces staff promotions

Chicago-Wilcox Inc., South Holland, Ill., has announced several staff changes to manage current and planned business growth in 2011 and 2012.

Dan DeVeau has assumed responsibility as president of operations. He was group president at Berkshire Hathaway and chairman and owner of CP Industries Inc.

David Soliday has been named vice president, engineering and sales. He has 12 years of service with the company, serving most recently as vice president of sales/general manager.

Ed Gardiner has been promoted to vice president, administration. In this position, he is responsible for the finance, accounting, legal, IT, human resources, and material management departments. Gardiner joined the company in 1982 and was most recently director of administration.

Mike Sullivan has been promoted to vice president, operations. He has been with the company since 1967 and was most recently manager, operations.

Hank Schneider has been promoted to director, sales. Schneider joined the company in 1977 and most recently served as manager, outside sales.

Janice Hunn has been promoted to director, human resources. Hunn previously served as administrative assistant to the president and has been with the company since 1984.

Chicago-Wilcox Inc. designs and manufactures metal, plastic, and rubber products for the industrial, transportation, chemical, food, energy, HVAC, pharmaceutical, and power industries.
