Clark Metal Products named one of Pennsylvania's healthiest companies

Clark Metal Products, a custom metal fabricator in Blairsville, Pa., has been named one of the 2012 healthiest employers in western Pennsylvania by the Pittsburgh Business Times. This honor is based on survey results focusing on all aspects of the company's wellness program.

The wellness program at Clark, which has been branded as PATH (Personal Attention to Total Health), encompasses education, on-site nutritional choices, a web-based walking program, and incentives for preventive care.

Company-funded biometric screenings are the cornerstone of the program. These on-site screenings allow employees to understand their key numbers and to have access to a medical professional for guidance and advice. Employees earn "PATH points" for participating in healthy activities throughout the year. Points can then be redeemed for gift cards, and points leaders are recognized.
