Control Southern earns ASME UV stamp for safety relief devices

Control Southern, Jacksonville, Fla., has earned UV certification that authorizes the company to assemble new safety relief valves in-house.

The assembly capability provides customers with a local product sourcing option, the company reports. If the safety valve a customer needs is not available in standard inventory, the company now has more flexibility to assemble it in-house.

Additional mechanical services include repair of line valves and actuators from all manufacturers, welding and custom fabrication, technology upgrades, diagnostic services, outage management, and preventive maintenance.
