ConXtech's structural steel fabrication factory passes AISC audit for fourth time

ConXtech's manufacturing team has passed its 2013 American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) Certified Building Fabricator audit. The highly automated steel fabrication facility in Hayward, Calif., passed the annual audit with zero nonconformances and no suggestions for improvement from the third-party auditor. This is the fourth consecutive year that ConXtech, maker of the ConX® modular, prefabricated, mass-customizable structural steel building system, has not only been certified, but passed with a perfect score.

During the audit, the AISC auditors verify that a quality management system is in place, implemented, and effective. Key audit criteria include training programs, documentation, and compliance and internal audit procedures for welding, bolting, contract document review, document control, purchasing, and inspection to ensure quality in the final structural steel frame product.
