Cretex Companies acquires Meier Tool & Engineering
Cretex Companies, Elk River, Minn., has acquired the assets of Meier Tool & Engineering (MTE), a manufacturer of miniature and microsized stamped components and subassemblies for the medical, aerospace and defense, and specialty electronics markets.
MTE will provide expertise in product design assistance, prototyping, tool design and build, and production of precision metal stampings and value-added assemblies, the company reports.
Cretex's Commercial Products Group provides contract manufacturing services requiring heavy-gauge metal machining and fabrication, metal stamping, precision machining, and plastic molding.
