Daimler Vans Mfg. expanding in South Carolina
Daimler Vans Mfg. has announced plans to expand its existing van assembly plant in Ladson, S.C. The $4.6 million expansion, which will include building improvements and assembly line changes, is expected to generate at least 60 new jobs. It is expected to be completed by 2018.
The company, a subsidiary of Daimler AG, assembles Sprinter®s for the U.S. market under the Mercedes-Benz and Freightliner brands.
