DeWys Mfg. hires manufacturing engineer

Marne, Mich.-based metal fabricator DeWys Mfg. Inc. has announced the addition of Curtis Kolarik as manufacturing engineer. His first project is to implement a large weldment area to increase throughput of bulky weldments by using a 3-axis welding positioner to decrease welding time.

Before joining the company, Kolarik earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Grand Valley State University. During his last three semesters there, he served as an intern at DeWys Mfg.
