DeWys Mfg. welcomes three co-op students

Metal fabricator DeWys Mfg. Inc., Marne, Mich., has announced the addition of three co-op students—Jesse, Derek, and Alex. These co-op students will be exposed to a variety of projects to encourage new critical thinking skills and to receive a hands-on learning experience.

The three students are obtaining their degrees in mechanical engineering from Grand Valley State University (GVSU) and Michigan Technological University. During their time at the company, the co-op students will be working closely with the DeWys Innovation team to propose efficient weld booth layouts, value-stream developments, and front-end alignment designs for the engineering team.
