Drew Industries acquires Spectal Industries

Elkhart, Ind.-based Drew Industries Inc., a supplier of components for recreational vehicles (RVs) and manufactured homes, has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary Lippert Components Inc. (LCI®) has acquired the business and certain assets of Spectal Industries Inc. and its subsidiaries.

Based in Granby, Que., Spectal manufactures windows and doors for school buses, commercial buses, emergency vehicles, trucks, and RVs. The firm also has manufacturing facilities in South Carolina and Tennessee.
