Echelon Capital purchases Republic Storage brand, closes factory
Chicago-based Echelon Capital has acquired the Republic Storage locker brand and customer list. Republic Storage closed on April 10, eliminating 300 jobs.
About 25 core office employees from Republic Storage have been hired for a new company, Republic Storage Products, which will maintain its headquarters in Canton, Ohio. The location of the firm’s metal fabricating facilities is still to be determined.
