Edac Technologies to consolidate operations in one Connecticut plant

Edac Technologies Corp., a manufacturer of components for aerospace and industrial applications, has entered into an agreement to purchase a 181,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing facility in Plainville, Conn.

The move to the 15-acre site will consolidate operations currently housed in four separate locations in Farmington, Conn., including several aerospace product lines and the Apex Machine Tool and Edac Machinery product lines. Edac's rotating engine components product line will continue to be based in Newington, Conn. Relocation is expected to take place over the next 18 months.
