Egan acquires 3D Imaging Services

Mechanical contractor and fabricator Andy J. Egan Co. (Egan), Grand Rapids, Mich., has acquired 3D Imaging Services, a construction technology company that provides digital documentation using 3-D imaging technologies and as-built modeling for the architectural, engineering, construction, and facilities management industries.

3D Imaging Services will operate as a separate limited liability company. Following the acquisition, the laser scanning company’s Flint, Mich., office and employees will relocate to Egan’s Grand Rapids headquarters.
