Egan adds director of sales and business development

Mechanical contractor and fabricator Andy J. Egan Co. has promoted Rick Atkins to the newly created position of director of sales and business development. In this role, Atkins oversees sales and marketing for Egan, along with its sister companies Walker Custom Sheet Metal, which specializes in custom sheet metal fabrication, and Egan Food Technologies, a confectionery and baking process equipment manufacturer and service provider.

He joined the company in 2003 as its first director of fabrication. Pat Heffron, who was formerly a fabrication project manager, takes over that position.
