Egan hires chief engineer

Mechanical contractor and fabricator Andy J. Egan Co., Grand Rapids, Mich., has hired Ken Van Putten, PE, LEED AP, CGD, as chief engineer. In this newly created position, he works with the engineering staff to enhance their design-build capabilities.

Van Putten has nearly three decades of experience in mechanical engineering, including the design of HVAC, piping, dust collection, and industrial ventilation. A graduate of Calvin College, he earned his professional engineering license in 1990.
