EIS acquires Light Fabrications Inc.

EIS Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Genuine Parts Co. in Atlanta, has acquired the assets of Light Fabrications Inc., a fabricator of flexible materials in Rochester, N.Y.

Bob Thomas, president and CEO of EIS, stated, "This acquisition is consistent with our strategy to invest in additional fabrication technology and engineering skills that will help us grow in all of the markets we serve."

EIS is a distributor of process materials, production supplies, specialty wire and cable, and value-added fabricated parts. Genuine Parts Co. is a distributor of automotive and industrial replacement parts in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
