Epic Systems adds custom machines project manager

Engineering and fabrication firm Epic Systems Inc., St. Louis, has hired Ryan Sobotka, FE, as project engineer. He designs and works with machine concepts, prototypes, and highly customized machinery projects.

A graduate of the University of Missouri with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Sobotka has more than six years of industrial experience, including designing and building prototypes and custom machines from the concept stage. He most recently was employed as a contractor with Epic Systems, designing and managing the fabrication of custom machines.
