Epic Systems adds staff member for shop logistics

St. Louis-based Epic Systems Inc. has hired Ryan Smith for the shop logistics role. In 2014 Smith interned at Epic in the process and mechanical group. As an intern he primarily assisted mechanical engineers with a liquid blending process system project for a local food processing plant.

Smith also has previous manufacturing experience as a line operator at QRS Recycling. He has received his pre-engineering certificate from Jefferson College and plans to continue with his engineering degree in the fall.

Epic Systems is a design, build, and integration company that provides complex modular process systems and pilot plant systems, distillation column design/build, packaging system design/automation, and machinery design and fabrication.
