Epic Systems to hold STEM workshop for children on April 30

St. Louis-based engineering and fabrication firm Epic Systems Inc. has launched a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) education initiative for elementary school students. The company will present a half-day, hands-on workshop for kids on April 30 at its fabrication plant to cultivate interest in engineering and STEM fields.

To launch the effort, the company worked with children of employees to make mini-engineers tutorial videos for at-home experiments related to the modular process systems the company designs. These tutorials, along with downloadable supply lists, instructions, links to other fun STEM experiments, and more information about the April 30 workshop, can be found at www.epicmodularprocess.com/mini-engineers.
