FABTECH Mexico 2016 brought best of manufacturing to Mexico City

FABTECH® Mexico, the leading manufacturing event in Latin America for metal forming, fabricating, welding, and finishing industries, brought the latest innovations in manufacturing to Mexico City’s Centro Banamex on May 4-6, 2016. The three-day show broke attendance records, welcoming more than 12,500 attendees and 550 exhibitors.

Spanning more than 146,000 net sq. ft. of exhibit space, the eighth edition of FABTECH Mexico gave attendees the opportunity to see live demonstrations, explore the latest manufacturing and welding technologies, meet with industry experts, and attend educational sessions. Educational sessions covered technical topics such as automation, cutting, forming and fabricating, lasers, lean management, software, stamping, and welding.

The annual show comprises four co-located shows: FABTECH Mexico encompasses metal forming and fabricating, as well as tube and pipe technology; AWS Weldmex features welding technology; METALFORM Mexico highlights metal forming and tool and die technology; and COATech focuses on finishing technology.

Sponsors are Fabricators & Manufacturers Association Intl. (FMA), SME, American Welding Society (AWS), Precision Metalforming Association (PMA), and the Chemical Coaters Association Intl. (CCAI).
