Falcon Steel launches material management program

Haltom City, Texas-based Falcon Steel, a producer of steel structures for power delivery systems, has launched a material management program that allows customers to plan and order in advance for steel structures to be fabricated within a given forecast. Fabricated structures then are stored on-site within designated secure inventory-management areas and managed by Falcon until the customer schedules delivery.

According to the company, the program makes it possible to deliver products within three to four weeks of a request as compared to the industry’s typical 16 to 20 weeks.
