Gap Partners expands in Georgia

Gap Partners Inc., Clayton, Ga., and the Development Authority of Rabun County have finalized a deal in which Gap Partners will use more than 26,000 sq. ft. of space with the option for an additional 65,000 sq. ft. at the new Rabun Business Park. The action enables Gap Partners to undertake a major expansion that will create 40 new, full-time jobs over the next few years.

The company provides precision sheet metal fabricated products and complex assemblies. The added space will allow the company to house a higher-capacity powder coating process and provide additional space for new product lines.

New operations are expected to begin by the end of 2010, with orders already in hand.
