Gear Motions’ Oliver Gear Division adds gear-hobbing machine
Gear Motions, a precision gear manufacturer based in Syracuse, N.Y., has acquired a Hera 350 CNC gear-hobbing machine for its Oliver Gear Division in Buffalo, N.Y.
According to the company, only seven other machines of this type are in operation throughout the U.S. It offers 3.5 dia. pitch (DP) to 50 DP and 1 to 16 in. dia.
