General Machine of Anderson is expanding its metalworking and manufacturing operations in Anderson County, S.C. The $800,000 investment is expected to generate at least 20 new jobs.

The new manufacturing space will house additional equipment and allow the company to increase its machining, fabricating, sheet metal, and manufacturing capacity. The construction of an assembly building is complete. The addition of fabricating space is expected to be complete in November.
