Georgia Labor Commissioner to tour Georgia Trade School

Georgia Trade School, Kennesaw, Ga., will welcome Georgia Labor Commissioner Mark Butler on Tuesday March 12, 2013 at 1:45 p.m. Commissioner Butler will tour the facility and meet with welding students and staff. During his visit Commissioner Butler will see how GTS is playing a key role in filling the state and surrounding area’s certified welder shortage. GTS graduates are working in a variety of industries including shipbuilding, energy, manufacturing and construction.

GTS, which offers courses in structural plate and pipe welding, is an American Welding Society educational institution fully licensed by the Office of Post Secondary Education in Georgia.
