Gilchrist Metal Fabricating recognized by U.S. Army

Gilchrist Metal Fabricating Co., Hudson, N.H., has been recognized for "outstanding recent support" provided to the Ronald Reagan Ballistic Missile Defense Test Site (RTS) in Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands. In 2015 the company provided a number of precision machined and fabricated parts on a critical path emergency basis for the RTS.

The mission of the RTS is to support the testing of missile systems used for various military and civilian applications. Such applications can vary from strategist ballistic missiles and theater ballistic missiles to missile interceptors, NASA experiments, near-Earth surveillance, and deep space surveillance.
