Hobart Institute adds two staff members

Shanda Allen

Hobart Institute of Welding Technology, Troy, Ohio, has hired Shanda Allen as registrar/bursar and Fred Henman as technical training instructor.

Allen has 19 years of experience in the educational field. She has served as an elementary school teacher, a college-level instructor, GED coordinator, student services coordinator, and registrar.

Henman, an AWS certified welding inspector, has more than 25 years of welding supervision and inspection experience. He began welding in 1977 and has training experience with blueprint reading, welding, fabrication, and gauge calibration.
