ILSCO Extrusions to restart Greenville, Pa., plant, add new jobs

ILSCO Extrusions is in the process of restarting operations at the former Signature Aluminum plant in Greenville, Pa. The former Signature Aluminum plant had been closed since April 2009.

At least 52 jobs will be created at the plant within three years. ILSCO invested nearly $5 million to buy the Signature plant and get it back up and running.

ILSCO had been one of Signature Aluminum's largest customers. It will produce aluminum extrusions that will be used to supply its other manufacturing operations.

Before it was Signature Aluminum, the company operated as Werner Ladder Company. Werner Ladder declared bankruptcy in 2006.
