J.L. Becker Co. names sales engineer
J.L. Becker Co., Plymouth, Mich., has hired Eric Buchanan as sales engineer. Before joining the company, he gained industry experience working with OEM automotive companies and their suppliers, in both account and quality management roles. He has experience with a variety of heat-treating processes and applications.
Buchanan attended Schoolcraft College in Livonia, Mich., earning multiple degrees along with concentrated coursework in the applied sciences of metallurgy and material sciences. He has successfully completed Six Sigma Green Belt training and Karrass development courses.
The company designs, manufactures, and services heat treating equipment for such processes as annealing, quenching, hardening, and carburizing.
