J.L. Becker hires sales and applications engineer

Industrial heat-treating equipment manufacturer J.L. Becker Co., Plymouth, Mich., has hired Patrick Weymer as sales and applications engineer. He is the Midwest regional sales manager for Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota and he supports sales efforts in the southeastern, southern, and northwestern U.S.

Weymer has more than 20 years of sales experience, which includes applications engineering and product management, as well as experience with heat-processing equipment design. He previously worked at BeaverMatic, Ipsen, and Lindberg. He holds an MBA from Cardinal Stritch University and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering.
