Jason Inc. combines with Quinpario Acquisition Corp.

Quinpario Acquisition Corp. has announced the completion of its business combination transaction to acquire Jason Inc., a global family of manufacturing businesses within the finishing, seating, components, and automotive acoustics markets. As part of the transaction, Quinpario has changed its name to Jason Industries Inc.

David Westgate, who was chairman, president, and CEO of Jason, now serves as CEO of Jason Industries. The new board of directors comprises certain members of the Quinpario and Jason boards, as well as other qualified individuals. The Jason management team, as well as the teams in place within its business units, remain intact. The company’s headquarters remain in Milwaukee.

Jason Industries now is parent company to Assembled Products (Buffalo Grove, Ill.), Janesville Acoustics (Southfield, Mich.), Metalex (Libertyville, Ill.), Milsco (Milwaukee), Morton Mfg. (Libertyville, Ill.), Osborn (Cleveland and Burgwald, Germany), and Sealeze (Richmond, Va.).
