John Deere factory celebrates 100th anniversary

John Deere Horicon Works, Horicon, Wis., is celebrating its 100-year anniversary. Products produced at the facility range from horse-drawn grain drills to the latest in lawn care equipment and utility vehicles.

"100 years of successful business is a great accomplishment. It is a true testament to the skill and ability of the past and present employees of the Horicon Works," said Steve Johnson, factory manager. "We are extremely proud to be celebrating our history and heritage with both Deere & Company and the city of Horicon, Wisconsin."
