Karlee announces acquisition by Porter’s Group LLC

Karlee Inc., Garland, Texas, a provider of contract manufacturing and metal fabrication services, has announced it has a new parent, independent metal fabricator Porter's Group LLC.

As a result of the sale, Karlee will add its account base of aerospace, commercial goods, medical equipment, and manufacturing companies to Porter Group's accounts in the security, mining, heavy equipment, and trucking industries. With the addition of Karlee’s 200,000-sq.-ft. facility, Porter's national base of operations now totals more than 600,000 sq. ft.

Porter's Group is a portfolio company of Resilience Capital Partners, a Cleveland-based private equity firm.
