Kia to open automotive plant in Mexico
South Korean automaker Kia Motors Corp. has announced plans to invest more than $1 billion in an assembly plant in Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
The plant, slated for completion in the first half of 2016, is expected to produce 300,000 vehicles per year.
