KMC completes plant acquisition, expansion

Kickhaefer Mfg. Co. (KMC), a metal stamping and fabrication company, has announced the acquisition of a new facility and the completion of an expansion to its current facility in Port Washington, Wis. The company plans to add 20 employees.

The new, 52,000-sq.-ft. facility has been expanded and renovated to accommodate the company's fabrication, punch press, and welding departments. It also includes a full-service prototype center.

The company also has renovated the warehouse in its current facility and expanded the plant by 8,400 sq. ft. to make room for a new engineering design center. Increased production capacity and capability will include a new, 600-ton link-motion press to be installed in the first quarter of 2013.
