K&S expands welded assembly area with robotic weld cell

K&S Tool, Die and Mfg. Inc., Ixonia, Wis., has added a Panasonic Perform Arc robotic weld cell to its welded assembly area.

"The addition of automated capacity allows us to meet the growing needs and customer demand," said Kevin Mullen, vice president of manufacturing. "Welded assemblies strategically fit our vertical capability, and further automation allows us to drive our business in a direction major OEMs have come to expect from the supply base."
