Laser Dynamics announces plant expansion, new equipment

Laser Dynamics has announced plans to add 20,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space to its Allendale, Mich., fabrication facility. The additional space will allow for continued expansion of the company’s welding and assembly operations and bring total manufacturing space to 88,000 sq. ft. The expansion is expected to create up to 10 jobs.

New fabrication equipment includes a Mazak Optiplex fiber-optic laser and FMS cutting system and two new robotic welding cells.

Laser Dynamics provides fabricated sheet metal and tubular components, as well as CNC machined components and assemblies, to markets including material handling, construction equipment, health care, office furniture, and store fixtures.
