L.B. Foster to provide 480 tons of pipe piling to Minnesota DOT

L.B. foster Co., Pittsburgh, a manufacturer, fabricator, and distributor of products for rail, construction, utility, and energy industries, has been awarded a contract to provide 480 tons of TRU 12-in. pipe piling and end plates for the reconstruction of eight Minnesota Department of Transportation bridges in Steele County. The piling will be delivered to the subcontractor, Lunda Construction Co., in 30 to 50 ft. lengths for use in the rehabilitation of four bridges in the city of Owatonna and four additional spans in the community of Waseca.

The first of 22 truckloads of pipe piling and end plates will begin delivery in September and complete during the Fall of 2010.
