Ludlow Mfg. expands, moves to new facility

Metal fabricating company Ludlow Mfg. Inc. has announced its expansion and relocation into a 75,000-sq.-ft. facility in Waukegan, Ill. The move is expected to be complete in April 2013.

The company has added a Bystronic Bysprint Fiber 3015 3.0-kW laser with automation and a Bystronic BySpeed Pro 3015 6.0-kW laser with automation to an existing pair of Bystronic lasers. It also has installed two Bystronic Xcite 80 E electric press brakes. Other new equipment includes a second Genesis robotic welding cell and a 0.25-in. by 4-ft. CNC plate roll.
