Luvata announces achievement of lean status

Luvata has announced that its manufacturing facility in Delaware, Ohio, has achieved lean status. The 792,223-sq.-ft industrial facility manufactures resistance welding electrodes, welding accessories, and copper formed products.

The company committed to the pursuit of lean by establishing strict benchmarks and measuring systems across its businesses. The firm committed to the pursuit of lean certification in 2006 and currently has three manufacturing locations certified as lean.
