Manufacturing in Mexico Summit to be held in October
The Offshore Group, Tucson, Ariz., will hold its 18th Annual Manufacturing in Mexico Summit in the resort town of San Carlos, Sonora, on Mexico's Sea of Cortez, Oct. 25-26.
The event is designed to enable executives and top-level sourcing personnel to examine the strategic option of initiating and maintaining production facilities south of the border. The two-day program includes presentations, guided tours of operational manufacturing plants, opportunities to meet and compare notes with executives who are presently manufacturing in Mexico, and personalized cost model analyses for contemplated Mexico manufacturing projects.
Attendees also can learn about The Offshore Group's Mexico Shelter Program business model for operating in Mexico at reduced cost and risk.
Currently 61 businesses operate at The Offshore Group's three Mexico manufacturing industrial parks in the state of Sonora, the city of Saltillo, Coahuila, and at the Group's Vangtel affiliate in Hermosillo, Sonora.
