Matheson acquires Hawaiian assets and operations of Air Liquide America

Matheson, Basking Ridge, N.J., has acquired the Hawaiian assets and operations of Air Liquide America LP. The acquisition includes five locations, including an air separation unit, on four islands.

The acquisition allows Matheson to expand into a new market. The company previously did not have air separation or filling operations in the state.

The firm is a provider of industrial, welding, and safety supplies; medical, specialty, and electronic gases; gas handling equipment; purification systems; engineering and gas management services; and on-site gas generation.
