MCEDC to build manufacturing facility in Kentucky

The Murray-Calloway Economic Development Corp. (MCEDC) has announced plans to build a new industrial facility in Murray, Ky., in an effort to attract manufacturing business.

Because the city has no available pre-existing office space, the MCEDC decided to build the 60,000-sq.-ft. building to target light to medium manufacturing operations, such as metal fabrication. The building will be expandable to 120,000 sq. ft.

Construction is scheduled for completion in early 2017.
