Mercedes-Benz moves SUV production to Indiana
Mercedes-Benz has moved production of its R-Class SUV from a facility in Alabama to the Mishawaka Commercial Assembly Plant of South Bend, Ind.-based AM General LLC.
According to the company, the production move involved a multimillion-dollar investment and the hiring of hundreds of new workers.
