Meyda Custom Lighting installs hydraulic press brake

To help reduce lead-times and expand custom capabilities, Meyda Custom Lighting, a Meyda Tiffany company in Yorkville, N.Y., has installed new hydraulic press brake equipment. The company produces custom lighting and decor.

The new press brake bends steel, brass, copper, and bronze to create hardware and frames for a variety of custom lighting fixtures and portable lamps. The CNC equipment enables hyperprecision bending of metal up to 8 ft. long.
