NAPW inducts Jim Manuel Iron Works owner into VIP Woman of the Year Circle

The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW), Garden City, N.Y., has inducted Regina Lee Manuel, owner of Jim Manuel Iron Works, into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle.

"Regina Lee Manuel is a prime example of a woman determined to get a college education despite all the responsibilities that go with being a 16-year-old high school dropout and single mother," said NAPW President Star Jones.

Manuel has a bachelor’s degree in management and organizational development, a master’s degree in instructional technology, and a Doctor of Education degree in technical education leadership. She brought two decades of technical expertise to her position as delivery project executive at IBM for 14 years. She became owner of Jim Manuel Iron Works, a manufacturing and metal fabrication company founded in 1977 by her late husband Jim Manuel, after his death in 2012.

Manuel also is a partner with My Online Business Education (MOBE), a training and Internet marketing program. She provides training courses and webinars at www.reginamanuel.com.
