Newcomb Spring general manager marks 50 years of service
Newcomb Spring Corp., a worldwide supplier of compression springs, extension springs, torsion springs, wire forms, stampings, rings, hooks, and battery contact springs in Decatur, Ga., has announced that Ron Hubbard, general manager of Newcomb Spring of Texas, is celebrating 50 years with the company.
Hubbard joined the company in 1964 as a shipping clerk in the Atlanta facility. He was quickly promoted through various positions, gaining experience that prepared him to open and manage the company’s new division, Newcomb Spring of Texas. His responsibilities have varied from daily operations at the division to companywide initiatives, such as the adoption of TQM, ISO 9001, and the current ERP system.
