Nomination period extended for Manufacturing Leadership Awards

Following a late surge in nominations, the Manufacturing Leadership (ML) Awards has announced that the deadline has been extended to Jan. 16, 2015. The ML Awards honor visionary businesses and individuals shaping the future of global manufacturing.

"We're extending the process for manufacturers who need time after the busy holiday season to complete and submit their nominations," said Manufacturing Leadership Council Global Vice President and Editorial Director David R. Brousell. "Already, we have seen many inspiring projects and individuals nominated for the 2015 ML Awards and we expect to receive many more."

Nominations will be evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges along with Manufacturing Leadership Community analysts. Judges look for projects and individual achievements that have helped manufacturers set themselves apart from competitors and have delivered clear, compelling value and return on investment.

Awards will be presented in the following 12 project categories: supply chain, sustainability, next-generation leadership, engineering and production technology, enterprise technology, new product, innovation process, operational excellence, customer value internet of things, mobility leadership, and big data and advanced analytics.

In addition, outstanding individuals will be presented with Visionary Leadership and Lifetime Achievement awards. Recipients will be honored at the Manufacturing Leadership Summit, June 2-4, 2015, at the Omni La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, Calif.

The Manufacturing Leadership Council, Mountain View, Calif., part of Frost & Sullivan, offers an integrated portfolio of leadership networking, information and professional development products, programs, and services for industrial executives worldwide.
