Optomec names Multistation as rep for 3-D metal printers in France

Optomec, Albuquerque, N.M., has announced that it has signed an agreement with Paris-based Multistation SAS to be its representative in France for its LENS® family of 3-D metal printers.

The printers and print engines are used to repair, rework, and manufacture metal components in materials such as titanium, stainless steel, and superalloys. They use the energy from a high-power laser to build up structures one layer at a time directly from powdered metals.
