Otis selected for World Trade Center Transportation Hub

Otis Elevator Company is providing 21 elevators and 47 escalators to the World Trade Center Port Authority Trans-Hudson (PATH) Transportation Hub in lower Manhattan, New York. Otis is a unit of United Technologies Corp.
"Otis is proud to take part in the reconstruction at the World Trade Center," said Otis President Didier Michaud-Daniel. "Our proven products and experience will be integral in providing safe and dependable transportation to the hub's expected 250,000 pedestrians every day."
The elevators and escalators will help connect passengers to existing and future transportation services, including World Trade Center office towers, the Memorial and Museum, Hudson River ferry terminals, the World Financial Center, PATH trains, and 11 subway lines, as well as approximately 200,000 square feet of retail facilities. The hub is scheduled to open mid-2014.
