Oxlean Mfg. announces $2.1 million expansion in Louisiana
Oxlean Mfg. will invest $2.1 million to expand and modernize its steel fabrication facility in Walker, La. The company, which is retaining 27 existing jobs, will create 73 new jobs at the facility and 122 indirect jobs.
The project will include the installation of advanced robotic technology, along with the use of affiliated software to expand and modernize the company’s production of steel products.
When the expansion is complete in Q3 2016, the firm will have 28,000 sq. ft. of production area. The company specializes in structural steel applications for the petrochemical industry, oil and gas production firms, and commercial construction customers.
